Child safety

Keep the device and all accessories away from children. Do not allow children to play with, chew, or swallow the device or any of its accessories to avoid the risk of choking or suffocation.

Making emergency calls

This device cannot guarantee normal calls under all conditions in all locations. Due to the differences in service networks and regions, do not rely solely on this device for important communications or emergency calls. Making calls isn't supported on Xiaomi tablets.

Security warning

Update your device’s operating system using the built-in software update feature, or visit our authorised service outlets. Updating software through other means may damage the device or result in data loss, security issues, and other risks.

Reading mode

You can turn on Reading mode in either of the following ways:

1. Swipe down on the main screen of your device and tap "Reading mode" to turn this feature on or off.

2. Go to Settings > Display > Reading mode. On this screen, you can also set Reading mode to turn on or off at specific times and adjust its display settings.

1. 20-20-20 rule: It is recommended to take a look at something located 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes.

2. Blinking: To relieve eye dryness, close your eyes for 2 seconds, then open them and blink rapidly for 5 seconds.

3. Refocusing: It is good exercise for your eye muscles to look away from your screen to the farthest place that you can see, then focus for a few seconds on your thumb put 30 cm in front of your eyes.

4. Eye rolling: Roll your eyes clockwise a few times, then take a break and roll them counter-clockwise.

5. Palming: Rub your palms together to generate heat before gently pressing them against your closed eyes for a few seconds.
